Mothers Day Favorites
Burnt toast, eggs made the way only a mother could love, and pancakes with plenty of syrup. Mother's Day breakfast in bed.
Let me see if I can help here. Toast made by a machine not much to do there but adjust the controls and try again with fresh slices of bread.
Eggs-- Here I can help. When it comes to eggs my cooking knowledge and skills excel. Fried, boiled, poached. Scrambled or omelet. Listen closely and I will tell you how to have successful eggs everytime.
Fried eggs are all about the heat. You want to sizzling hot with just enough oil to cove the bottom of the pan. Unless you are a eggspert, crack your eggs into a bowl. Until your skills are up cook the eggs one at a time or cook them all at once and hope mom wants scrambled. Pour the egg into the hot pan , lower the heat. Before turning over place a few drops of oil from the pan on the egg yoke. Then take the spatula slip it under the egg and flip. Leave it on the heat for about 1 minute. Pour the egg out of the pan. Do it again.
Tomorow boiled eggs.
